Inaugural Try-a-Tri Modified Triathlon at Robson Ranch Arizona
Robson Ranch Arizona recently hosted its first annual Try-a-Tri modified triathlon for seniors. This event is a perfect example of a community come together to form relationships that help everyone live healthier, happier, and more fulfilling lives.
Embracing the Challenge
The challenging triathlon, typically aimed at those with exceptional fitness, has been adapted to accommodate senior residents. These spirited individuals aren’t simply testing their physical limits; they’re also challenging societal norms about aging. This event goes beyond competition as it highlights the community’s commitment to promoting an active, engaged, and fulfilling lifestyle for all.
Participants
Thank you to all of you who participated. We originally hoped for 30 participants however….the total count for athletes is 83! This far exceeded our expectations! Our hopes as a committee was to get all different fitness levels involved. To see all of you set your goal, practice and then finally compete in the first ever Try-a-tri event. It has been so fulfilling for us to see so many people practice and believe in themselves. You are all AMAZING!
