Environments For Living (EFL) – A national third party certification company has established a rigorous set of requirements for homebuilders to provide homes that offer durability, energy-efficiency and indoor environmental quality.
Energy Usage Guaranteed
Under the Environments for Living program, TopBuild Home Services Inc. guarantees your monthly heating and cooling usage through a two-year Energy Usage Guarantee*. The TopBuild Home Services, Inc. Limited Guarantee is for heating and cooling usage for the first two years after the home is built; it is not a guarantee of energy costs. See the Environments For Living program’s Limited Guarantee for details.
As a result of our dedication to energy efficiency, homes at each active adult community are ENERGY STAR® Certified Homes, which saves you money without sacrificing performance.
Home Energy Rating System, HERS®
To measure the energy efficiency of each new luxury home at a Robson Resort Community, the homes receive a Home Energy Rating System (HERS) score. This nationally recognized system calculates a home’s energy performance and based on the rating, a score is determined. The HERS score is like a miles-per-gallon rating, but similar to a golf score where a lower number is better. Typical resale homes score 130 and standard new homes built to the 2006 International Energy Conservation Code usually score around 100. Although the HERS scores may differ a bit at each Robson Resort Community, new homes in general at the Robson Resort Communities have HERS scores lower than 65, with many averaging between 54 – 57. This means each new home at a Robson Resort Community is at least 35% more energy-efficient than a standard new home built to the 2006 Internation Energy Conservation Code.

How the HERS® Index is Calculated
A certified Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET) Home Energy Rater conducts an energy rating on a home to determine its energy performance, which produces the HERS Index score. This score is then compared against a ‘reference home’– a designed-model home of the same size and shape as the actual home.

An active adult community is a residential development specifically designed for adults aged 55 and above. These communities offer a range of amenities, activities, and homes tailored to the needs and preferences of active older adults.
2. Who can live in a 55+ active adult community?
To reside in a 55+ active adult community, at least one member of the household must be 55 years or older. However, in some cases, someone under 55, but at least forty years of age or older, may live within a 55+ community.
3. What are the benefits of living in a 55+ active adult community?
Living in a 55+ active adult community provides numerous benefits, such as a vibrant social life, access to luxurious amenities like high-end fitness centers, resort-style swimming pools, and Pickleball, innovative home designs, and a sense of community.

Each Robson Resort Community offers a variety of new home options. 11. What is a Preferred Guest Stay?
If you are considering a Robson Resort Community, a Preferred Guest Stay allows you to experience the community like a resident. 12. How long does it take to build my dream home?
Building your dream home takes time. Many variables will impact build time for every new home including permitting, product availability, inspections and more. Most new homes can take anywhere between 6 months to over a year. For current build times, please contact us.
13. Is there an association fee, and what does it cover?
Yes, each 55+ active adult community has an association fee. The association fee covers the maintenance of common areas, landscaping, security, upkeep of community amenities, and more. The specific details and fee amount will be provided upon inquiry.
14. Does Robson Resort Communities offer financing options?

17. Are upgrades available for my new home?
Upgrades are available for each new home at a Robson Resort Community. To see the available upgrades for a particular floorplan, search for and select your desired home, then select the Design Options button. From there, you can see the available upgrades.
18. Do the new homes have any included features?
Each new home is designed for luxury retirement living with many desirable included features. View the included features for each floorplan by searching for and selecting your desired home, then select the Included Features button on your desired floorplan.
19. Is a real estate agent needed to purchase my new home at a Robson Resort Community?
No. The New Home Sales Teams at each community are experts, very knowledgeable, and can help answer any questions you may have. If you are already working with a real estate agent, be sure to bring them with you to your first community visit.
20. Do the Robson Resort Communities offer senior living options?
While the Robson Resort Communities are for 55+ active adults, we do understand that needs change as we age. Currently, the Robson Resort Communities do not offer senior living options. However, two Robson Senior Living Communities in the Greater Phoenix area do offer independent living and assisted living.
21. What energy efficient features are included in new homes?
