Robson Ranch Texas Rock & Roll Martini Group Rocks Out to Kiss

A Kiss-Themed Night to Remember
The House Band host for the latest Rock & Roll Martini Group gathering was Connie Metzler, who selected one of her favorite bands, Kiss, as the featured music for the evening. Known for their bold face paint, theatrical stage outfits, and high-energy performances, Kiss provided the perfect inspiration for a rock-themed celebration.
Connie dressed to impress for the event, fully embracing the Kiss theme. Special recognition also went to Monica Bishop for going above and beyond with her over-the-top look. The energy, creativity, and costumes helped make the evening feel like a true rock and roll party.
Connie served the main course, while the rockers and guests helped complete the meal with additional dishes. The featured martinis for the evening were the “Vampire Kiss” and “I Was Made for Loving You,” adding another playful nod to the featured band.
A Toast, a Tradition, and a Little Rock & Roll Spirit
The evening also included a special toast in honor of Greg Metzler. Bob Difonzo led the tribute, and everyone shared a shot of Blanton’s bourbon whiskey, Greg’s favorite. The group voted to make this a yearly tradition whenever Connie serves as House Band host.
It was also a record-setting night for the group, as three martini glasses met their unfortunate end. As the saying goes, “It’s not a party until a glass is broken!” Thankfully, no screen doors were harmed during the celebration.
