SaddleBrooke Rattlers Strike Again

The SaddleBrooke Rattlers strike again! This powerhouse senior softball team from SaddleBrooke has once again claimed victory. This time, they’ve conquered the Silver City, N.M., Senior Softball Tournament B Division.

A Championship Run to Remember

The Rattlers kicked off the tournament with a decisive win over One More. Though they faced a temporary setback against the Chicano Cubs, they quickly rebounded with dominant victories over the Firebirds and the Sun City Rockets.

The championship game was a rematch against the top-seeded Chicano Cubs and was an absolute nail-biter. The Cubs took an early lead, but the Rattlers fought back tirelessly, tying the game in the fifth inning. The SattleBrooke Rattlers strike again! In a dramatic seventh inning, the Rattlers edged out a thrilling 23-21 victory, securing the championship title.

Recounting the Stats

The SB Rattlers had four players bat over .700 (Stroud .867, Romeo .778, Hastings .733, and Jackson .706). Massara had the team’s only HR while also adding 4 triples to finish with a 1.874 OPS, second to Stroud’s 2.067 OPS.
