What Makes Red Ball Tennis Ideal for Active Adults
Red Ball Tennis has quickly become a favorite among SaddleBrooke’s 55+ residents because it removes many barriers that come with traditional tennis. The slower red ball, simplified format, and relaxed pace make the game easier to learn and gentler on the body. It still delivers plenty of movement and energy. The focus stays on rallying, laughing, and staying engaged. It does not focus on perfect technique or competition. The format works for all skill levels. It welcomes beginners and returning players alike. Come solo or bring a friend. Either way, it is easy to jump in and start playing.
When and Where to Play
Weekly drop-in sessions take place at the SaddleBrooke One Tennis Center on Courts 1–4. All equipment is provided, including racquets, red balls, and supportive coaching. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a willingness to move and have fun. Everything else is ready on site.
Fitness, Fun, and Community — All in One
Red Ball Tennis offers real cardio benefits, but the real value comes from connection. Players rally, talk between points, and build friendships in a relaxed setting. This program fits naturally into the active adult lifestyle at SaddleBrooke and The Preserve. Residents enjoy many opportunities to stay engaged, try new activities, and connect with neighbors.
