After a thorough briefing and suiting up, Ron was tethered to a certified instructor. Together, they boarded a 1971 de Havilland Otter plane and ascended to a breathtaking height of 14,000 feet. The anticipation must have been palpable as the plane reached its peak, and the moment of truth arrived.

With a leap of faith, Ron and his instructor plunged into the sky, free-falling at an exhilarating speed of 120 mph. After a heart-pounding descent, they landed perfectly on a designated 300-foot-wide gravel target area.
