An Ode to Amazing Neighbors at Robson Ranch Texas

“The people are so friendly,” they said. “Everyone is welcoming and caring,” they said. “Robson Ranch Texas is great,” they said. We have lived in many great subdivisions, so we may have been a little skeptical. But the amazing neighbors at Robson Ranch Texas is more than I could have imagined.

This fall I was facing a surgery with a pretty tough recovery. Four weeks with zero weight bearing and four weeks more in a boot (on my right foot), so no driving. When your family lives over 3,000 miles away, your husband is working 12 hours a day, 7 days a week with FEMA, helping hurricane victims, and you need help, where do you turn?

It started with the necessary post-surgical equipment: knee scooter, crutches, and ice machines—all the paraphernalia. I reached out to neighbors to see if anyone had spare equipment, and every need was met. I was pretty impressed with the array of equipment my neighbors have. We are like a regular medical supply store here in Robson.

I Needed Help

Now for the hard part—I needed help getting to doctor appointments, allergy shots, physical therapy, and all the other things we manage ourselves.

This is where my amazing neighbors at Robson Ranch Texas showed up—an avalanche of support, love, fantastic meals delivered, tasty snacks, magazines, books, plants, Netflix recommendations, and, most importantly, company.

There is no way to repay this kind of love and support except to always pay it forward when the next Robson Ranch neighbor needs help. But I still want to express my gratitude and appreciation to the amazing people whom I have come to know and love.
