Celebrating “Ten Years of Song” at SaddleBrooke Ranch

In 2016, a simple vision brought music to life in Oracle, Arizona. SaddleBrooke Ranch resident Mary Huebner presented the idea of starting a new community chorus to the Oracle Piano Society. Unanimously, her proposal was accepted, and Voices in the Oaks (VIO) Chorale was born. Mary recruited local singers and conducted the first performance in May 2016 at the Oracle Center for the Arts. Fast forward to 2026 and VIO is still singing strong and has matured into a successful community chorale.

Celebrate “Ten Years of Song” at SaddleBrooke Ranch

Now, Voices in the Oaks is celebrating by performing an anniversary concert. “Ten Years of Song” highlights the chorale’s musical journey. The performance takes place in the Ranch House Ballroom and features one song from each past concert season. Choosing only one song from each concert wasn’t easy, and they are excited to share the final product, including pieces performed by the full chorale, Chamber Voices, and many talented soloists and instrumentalists. Songs from past concerts include Fascinating Rhythm, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Hallelujah, and If Music Be the Food of Love.

Following the concert, a reception will be held in the ballroom so guests can continue the celebration with neighbors and friends.

Event Details and Additional Performances

Tickets are available through the Voices in the Oaks website and from chorale members. Students may attend at no cost with a valid ID. Guests can also attend the reception for an additional fee. The event includes a taco bar, dessert, and a cash bar. Additional performances are held at local venues, offering more opportunities to enjoy the show.
