A Little Strategy, Skill, and Competition

Each month, QCBC members gather to test their skills, enjoy spirited competition, and connect with fellow billiards enthusiasts. The tournaments also attract spectators who come to cheer on friends and appreciate impressive shots. The competition began with a double-elimination format before transitioning to single-elimination rounds. Throughout the tournament, players demonstrated precision, strategy, and determination as they competed for the championship.
As club member Tommy O’Dierno enthusiastically reminded fellow players, “I love this game! Anything can happen!”
Celebrating the 9-Ball Champions
The championship match brought together Lenny Friedman and Bob Coulter for an exciting final showdown. Both players delivered impressive performances, keeping spectators engaged as the competition intensified. Ultimately, Friedman secured the championship with a precisely executed combination shot in the deciding frame. Coulter earned runner-up honors, while Alphie Smith claimed third place after competing against both finalists. Congratulations to the winners and all nine participants who contributed to another successful QCBC tournament.
