Friendship and Duplicate Bridge at Robson Ranch Arizona
At Robson Ranch Arizona, a 55+ active adult community between Phoenix and Tucson, retirement offers opportunities to explore your interests. From discovering new hobbies to sharing longtime passions, residents have countless ways to stay engaged and build meaningful friendships. For members of the Duplicate Bridge Club, a friendly game of cards brings together strategy, competition, and connection.
More Than Just a Game of Cards
Duplicate Bridge puts a competitive twist on the classic card game. Players compete using the same hands, making strategy, teamwork, and skill more important than the luck of the deal. It’s a rewarding way to challenge your mind while spending time with friends and neighbors. That shared enthusiasm has helped the Robson Ranch Duplicate Bridge Club grow considerably since its beginnings in 2022. What started with a handful of dedicated players has grown into a thriving club with more than 30 participants.
Today, the club is officially sanctioned by the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL). This recognition allows participating ACBL members to earn Masterpoints during weekly games. While competition adds to the excitement, the friendships formed around the table make the experience even more rewarding.
Finding Your Place at the Table
One of the club’s greatest strengths is its friendly, supportive atmosphere. Experienced members are happy to teach and mentor others, creating opportunities for players to develop their skills. Whether you’re a seasoned bridge enthusiast or interested in improving your game, there’s a place for you at the table. The club meets Thursdays at 1:45 p.m. in the Laredo Room at the Ranch House. On the last Thursday of each month, play begins at 5:45 p.m. instead. All bridge players are welcome.
