New Golder Ranch Fire Station to Serve SaddleBrooke Ranch

Golder Ranch Fire Station 378 is set to serve SaddleBrooke Ranch with enhanced emergency response capabilities and state-of-the-art facilities. The groundbreaking ceremony for the new fire station took place in June, marking a significant milestone. This future facility, approved under the 2019 bond issue, promises to enhance emergency services for local residents.

The History of Fire Services at SaddleBrooke Ranch

For the past 11 years, Golder Ranch Fire Station has operated out of a residential home within the SaddleBrooke Ranch community. Despite the limited space and facilities, a smaller engine and a dedicated team of four fire personnel have provided 24/7 service to the area. Nevertheless, the growing needs of the community have called for a more advanced and purpose-built facility. Consequently, construction of the new fire station will address these limitations by providing upgraded infrastructure. It will include state-of-the-art apparatus bays, living quarters for 11 on-duty personnel, and a bay for a future ambulance.

Groundbreaking Ceremony Highlights

The groundbreaking ceremony for Golder Ranch Fire Station 378 was a well-attended event. Among the notable attendees were members of the Golder Ranch Fire District (GRFD) board, Jeff McClure from the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, GRFD Chief Tom Brandhuber, Tim Fudge, Director of Facilities at Robson Communities, and representatives from Lloyd Construction. Additionally, local press, GRFD personnel, and several invited residents were present, all gathered to witness this important milestone.

Remarks from Community Leaders

Assistant Chief Grant Cesarek of Support Services opened the ceremony by welcoming attendees and underscoring the crucial role that Station 378 will play in the community’s emergency response network. He stated, “Station 378 plays a vital role in our emergency response network, and the construction of this new facility is a testament to our dedication to providing the highest level of service to the residents of SaddleBrooke Ranch.”

Fire Chief Tom Brandhuber echoed this sentiment, expressing his excitement for the project. “We are excited to launch this important project that will significantly enhance our ability to serve the needs of our community,” he stated. “The new Station 378 will provide our firefighters with a modern, efficient facility to carry out their life-saving work.”
