Rotary Club of SaddleBrooke Swings ‘Fore’ Kids
The Rotary Club of SaddleBrooke swings 'fore' kids as it gears up for the 24th Annual Fore For Kids Golf Tournament, set to take place at The Preserve Golf Club this spring. Co-sponsored by Arizona Hearing Specialists, this event marks a return to the SaddleBrooke community after a stint at Oro Valley Country Club for the past three years, following many successful years at MountainView Country Club.
In response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament underwent a shift in scheduling, moving from its traditional spring slot to the fall in 2021. However, with the hope for more favorable weather conditions and a desire to resume its usual rhythm, the tournament is making its way back to the spring season.
Impact and Contributions
Since its inception, the Fore For Kids Tournament has been a significant contributor, raising an impressive $500,000. These funds have played a crucial role in supporting various youth programs across communities such as Oracle, San Manuel, Mammoth, and Catalina. From scholarships to robotics education and character development initiatives, the impact has been substantial.
