At a recent general meeting of Ranchette Putters, Judy McDermott was a special guest. Judy's shared how she became involved with The First Tee. She partnered with the City of Tucson and the PGA Tour to develop The First Tee of Tucson in 2006. She was named the executive director in 2019.
Furthermore, The First Tee, established in 1997, instills essential life skills in children through the game of golf. Its curriculum, supported by prominent golf associations like LPGA, Masters Tournament, PGA, and USGA, focuses on nine core values: Honesty, Integrity, Sportsmanship, Respect, Confidence, Responsibility, Perseverance, Courtesy, and Judgment.
