Bocce Ball is a popular pastime among the residents of SaddleBrooke Ranch, an active adult community in the Tucson area. They can join the SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) Bocce Club to experience the friendly fun of bocce ball firsthand. Recently, the club concluded its season with an exhilarating championship game between Ballz & Dolls and Boccelero Bandits. Despite the looming threat of a monsoon storm, both teams displayed remarkable talent and determination, engaging in a nail-biting three-game battle. In the end, the Ballz & Dolls emerged as the champions, claiming victory in the rubber match.

Despite stormy weather disrupting the schedule for the Monday teams and causing frequent rescheduling, the 16 teams of the SBR Bocce Club summer league never allowed it to dampen their spirits. Their ability to adapt and enjoy the experience is a testament to the lively and fun-loving nature of the SBR Bocce Club.

Thrilling Playoff Encounters and Competitive Spirit

The playoffs saw several teams reaching impressive heights with their talent and competitive spirit. Rockin' Rollers, Pallino Pals, The Big LeBocce, Bocce Ball Blasters, Fireballers, and Stingrays were among the fierce competitors battling their way through the league. Furthermore, their determination and skill made the playoffs an enthralling and memorable spectacle, creating an atmosphere of healthy competition among players.

Acknowledging the Referees

A special mention goes out to the dedicated volunteer referees: Rami Mantoura, Milan Steube, Deb Sandin, and Rob Rizk. The club acknowledges its commitment to the sport and its role in creating an enjoyable playing environment.
