Step On Stage

Art Club
The PebbleCreek Art Club (PCAC) serves to generate and nurture an interest in Art within PebbleCreek. This club meets regularly in the Tuscany Falls Creative Arts Center between September and May. Funds from club dues are used to purchase supplies and to bring in special events that would further enhance club members’ knowledge of techniques and skills. The club is open to all PebbleCreek residents and welcomes all skill levels.
Camera Club
The PebbleCreek Camera Club is open to anyone interested in taking photographs and learning about photography. Members use a variety of equipment including cell phones and high-end professional cameras. No experience is necessary. The club’s intent is to help members meet other photographers and to improve their photography skills by utilizing their chosen equipment.

Ceramics Club
Ceramic classes, as well as workshops, are offered using various techniques, paints and glazes. New sculpture classes have also been added. The club always welcomes new members to join in the fun – visitors are welcome to stop by the Gecko classroom in the Creative Arts Building any time.
Knimble Kneedles
Knimble Kneedles is a group of PebbleCreek residents who get together to knit and crochet. In addition, they really enjoy chatting with each other in a relaxed atmosphere. They either work on their’ own projects or on items for local charities.
Open Beading Group
The Open Beading Group of PebbleCreek meets on Mondays at 1:00 p.m. in the Creative Arts Center. It is open to all interested PebbleCreek residents. Group members create beaded jewelry, clothing and accessories.
PebbleCreek Glass Art Club
The PebbleCreek Glass Art Club was established to provide an opportunity for residents to explore their creative ideas through the outlets of creating glass art projects.
PebbleCreek Quilters
PebbleCreek Quilters help to promote fellowship among quilters and to initiate programs and workshops; to inspire, share knowledge and ideas with fellow quilters while creating and distributing various items to local charities. Each member is free to participate in as many or as little of the groups’ programs as they wish.
PebbleCreek Sewing Club
The PebbleCreek Sewing Club provides an avenue for residents to get together and use their interests and skills in sewing to make items for themselves and others.
Rug Hooking
They use the traditional method of rug hooking which involves using a hook to pull cut strips of woolen fabric through a linen or monks cloth canvas in order to create a design. The linen is stretched on a frame or hoop and strip cutters are used to cut the wool into varying widths. Rugs are the primary projects for this club, but mats, pillows, wall hangings, table runners and bags are also many examples of hooked items.
Scrapbooking Creatively Club
If you have boxes of photos and memorabilia that you have meant to do something with, just haven’t gotten around to it….join the Scrapbooking Creatively Club and start making lasting memories. Bring your supplies and time for fun and fellowship in a creative environment.
Sit-N-Stitch
Club members stitch on personal projects. Emphasis on Hardanger, Cross Stitch and Embroidery.
Stampers Club
Join this club in creating handmade greeting cards and gift items that are sure to have the recipient feel extra special. Each week the PebbleCreek Stampers have class sessions to create handmade cards and gift items using rubber stamps, paper and ink.
Woodcarvers Club
This club offers between 20 to 25 carving classes during their carving year (October through April of the following year). The classes offered run the gamut of the basics of carving, learning how to wood burn, to birds, kachinas, bark carving, caricatures, spoon carving, animals, Christmas ornaments and more. The instructors are members of the club who donate their time and only charge for the materials for their classes. The level of these classes goes from beginner to intermediate to expert. They try to have a world-class professional carver come once a year to present a class to the club.

Classics Car Club
The club provides a means for auto enthusiasts who live in PebbleCreek to share ideas and experiences about autos and automotive issues. Each year the Club runs the PebbleCreek Autofest which donates food and money to the Agua Fria Food Bank and other local charities.
Computer Club
The group is run by volunteer residents to support, train, and enhance the use of personal computers and related technology. Weekly classes are held to help a beginner get started and an experienced user to advance their abilities. Special interest groups and hands-on classes are held in the Computer Lab weekly.
Democratic Club
The Democrat Club exists to provide public affairs information and a forum for discussion with social camaraderie. The club is not a PAC and does not underwrite candidates. This club is open to all PebbleCreek homeowners.
Republican Club
Its mission is to attract, educate, organize, equip and mobilize members by providing an environment to be actively involved in the political process and the Republican Party. In addition, this club provides an opportunity for fellowship, discussion, and an educational forum for Republican ideals and principles.
Euchre Club
The club plays a quick trick taking card games using just 24 cards (9’s to Aces). Jacks of the trump suit color are the highest ranking cards. Rotating partners play eight games; each game consists of eight hands.
Fine Dining Club
Established to promote the appreciation of fine cuisine through various preparations, presentation, and the origin of recipes. Club members celebrate fine cuisine presented in an artful fashion by the talented chefs.
Good Time Gals
Formed so all women living in PebbleCreek could join together for good times, friendship and fun. They have weekly, monthly, quarterly card and game activities as well as dinners, trips and special theme luncheons.
Flair Friendship Fun Club (FFF)
In the spirit of fellowship, members of the Flair Friendship Fun Club share similar interests and a desire to participate in different events and activities such as dining, concerts, bowling, golf, tennis, Pickleball, movies, games and more.
Mah Jongg
A game of skill coupled with wit and fortune. It originated in China and dates back about two thousand years. This game is played with 152 tiles and a card that identifies the specific hand that can be played.
Nurses Group
Consists of retired and active nurses who hold blood pressure clinics, take trips and meet for breakfast to discuss medical topics and socialize.
PebbleCreek Bridge Clubs
Offering many opportunities for beginners and experts to enjoy the game of Bridge, games are scheduled six days a week and lessons are available, as well. There are many casual and marathon groups, plus non-sanctioned Duplicate and Sanctioned Duplicate sessions.
PebbleCreek Gun Club
The mission of the gun club is to promote the participation of residents in the enjoyment of all forms of recreational shooting.
PebbleCreek Singles Club
This is a diverse group of women and men who enjoy each other’s company by participation in a wide variety of activities.
PebbleCreek Wine Club
The club was formed to promote the enjoyment of wine in a social/neighborly forum, and to enhance members’ overall knowledge of wine through educational efforts.
Poker Club
The PebbleCreek Poker Club is a group of men and women who get together weekly to enjoy friendship and play cards. The stakes are small and the games are split pots so no one gets hurt in the card games.
Ponytail Canasta
This game is played with two team pairs and gives decks of cards. A team must have all of the following Canastas in order to win the hand: a natural canasta 9 (no wild cards); a dirty canasta (up to 3 wild cards); a canasta of sevens (7) (no wild cards) and a Canasta of all wild cards.
PCCC (PebbleCreek Cribbage Club)
This group is for residents that love the game and play it for the fun of it. It is organized with two person play each month with tournament rules and prizes.
Rovin’ Pebbles RV Club
The Club is open to all PebbleCreek RV owners no matter what type, make or size of the RV. Members share tips and take trips together while seeing new places and making friends.
Helping the Community of Goodyear & Beyond

Breast Cancer Support Group
Consisting of residents who are breast cancer survivors or currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer, the group provides a forum to share feelings, concerns, information and support of each other.
Kare Bears
A non-profit organization, “Neighbors helping Neighbors” in PebbleCreek provides Health & Wellness resources to residents.

Pet Companions Club
The club is a non-profit 501 c 3 organization whose mission is to provide a safe environment for the pets of this community and to assist in the rescue of stray animals in the community.
T.T.T. (Time, Talent & Treasure)
This is a national non-profit organization of women who donate their time, talent and treasures to send girls to camp. Through philanthropic fundraising T.T.T. provides educational camping experiences for girls who might not otherwise have the chance.
Learning in Retirement
In the fall of 2004, a small group of resourceful PebbleCreek residents got together with the goal of bringing continuing education programs to the community. Today, LifeLong Learning at PebbleCreek is an award-winning program, receiving a Gold Achievement Award in the “Best 50+ Lifestyle Program” category by the National Association of Home Builders. LifeLong Learning continues to expand and is a popular program for 55+ active adults in PebbleCreek.

Tour de PebbleCreek
Tour de PebbleCreek coincides with the Tour de France and takes homeowners on a virtual ride along the French countryside. Cycling enthusiasts that participate in this event cycle one mile for every ten required in the Tour de France, logging 206 miles total.

Tuscany Falls was designed by Dick Bailey, a noted golf course architect, and showcases dramatic mounding, rolling fairways and strategically placed bunkers. The signature hole is number 13, where golfers must carry more than 100 yards over water from the tee box to the green.

Local Attraction: Luke Air Force Base
Luke Air Force Base is a secure, operational Air Force Base located in Litchfield Park. As well as serving as a base, it also conducts special events and programs throughout the year. Its Retiree Activities Program serves military retirees (of all branches of service), spouses, widows and widowers. This is a total volunteer office and looks for anyone who would like to donate a few hours a month of their time. In addition, the base hosts Luke Days, a special two-day show with a unique combination of aerial demonstrations, military aircraft ground displays, exhibits, and attractions.
White Tank Mountains
The Park offers nearly 25 miles of shared-use trails, ranging in length from 0.9 to 7.9 miles, and difficulty from easy to strenuous. Day hikes can provide some breathtaking views of the mountains and panoramas of the Valley below. In addition, there are 2.5 miles of pedestrian-only trails. These include two short trails that are hard-surfaced and barrier free.
Estrella Mountain Regional Park
These 19,840 acres of desert and mountains became the first regional park in the Maricopa County Park System in 1954. Located near the meeting of the Gila and Agua Fria Rivers in the southwest Valley, the park includes a large wetland, or riparian, area. The majority of the park remains pristine desert, very similar in appearance to the landscape seen by the first settlers and explorers.
Lake Pleasant
Lake Pleasant is a 10,000-acre lake with two boat-launching areas for fishing and sailing. It is located 15 miles west of highway I-17 and has tent campgrounds and RV campsites.
About a 30 minute drive from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, PebbleCreek residents enjoy easy access to one of the Southwest’s busiest airports.

The Civic Center Branch Library is located at 11350 Civic Center Drive. Inside this downtown location, the library hosts varied events from Medieval Times Groups to Needle & Thread classes as well as providing regular library services, computer rooms and meeting rooms.
Avondale Old Town Library
This historic library recalls the early days of Coldwater, later Avondale begun by Bill Moore of the infamous Quantrill Gang who bought 280 acres for 70 dollars. His Coldwater Station was a watering hole for stagecoach drivers who crossed the arid desert for the promised land of California. The library features an array of events and club meetings throughout the year, in addition to library services, public computers, and volunteer opportunities. It is located at 328 West Western Avenue, just three miles from PebbleCreek.
Sam Garcia Western Avenue Library
Located at 495 E. Western Drive just a short drive from PebbleCreek, is Avondale’s newest library. It features an open and inviting modern 12,000 square foot facility. The ground floor is dedicated to children and the community with a story-time reading room. Adult interests are located on the second level, capturing scenic views of the Valley, Estrella Mountains and the Old Town neighborhood.
Litchfield Park Branch Library
The Litchfield Park Branch Library is located at 101 West Indian School Road. It offers an inviting place to read a book or paper and offers all the regular library services.
Arizona State University-West Campus
ASU-West Campus is located off Highway 17 W Thunderbird Road. The West Campus is one of four university campuses that compose Arizona State University and is located in Northwest Phoenix, in the city of Glendale. The campus offers an array of courses from education and business administration to interdisciplinary studies.
Estrella Mountain Community College
Offering personal enrichment and professional development opportunities in a wide variety of subjects, Estrella Mountain Community College is recognized for its excellent medical and nursing training. Estrella Mountain offers noncredit continuing education classes and adult education programs.
